Install Jspec Engine in Connecticut

Hello All,

I need help finding a shop in Connecticut to install a Jspec engine into my 89 Turbo II. The original engine needs a rebuild.

While i'm doing the swap, i'd also like to make some basic performance and reliability upgrades. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Rev

I was hoping to save money by putting in a Jspec. It looks like I can pick one up for about $800. The cheapest rebuild I could find was $1300 from Rotary Ressurection in Tennesee. Wouldn't it be cheaper to rebuild my current engine than to buy a Jspec and rebuild it?

I've heard that Mazda of Milford is a good place to take an RX-7. Can anyone recommend any other shops in CT?

J-specs aren't always good engines to "drop-in"

Sometimes they are rusted out junkyard engines, guess why that is......
