Inside Door Panel Pictures?
Inside Door Panel Pictures?
I was wondering if someone can point me in the direction of some pictures of the doors with the interior panels off.
Reason being I want to mod up and and possibly fit some 5.25" or 6.5" speakers in them and not use the rear speakers.
I would just go take the panels off myself but the car is in storage and I'm at college anyways... so I can't really get to it.
Anyone have any pictures or know where I can find some. Anyone had experience with putting some speakers in the door? What about modding up a kickpanel for them?
Just looking for ideas and pictures of the door with interior panel off... please let me know.

Heres the stock speakers in my old T2 when I was planning to get my Alpine components in...You're gonna have to fab up some custom mounts cus the woofer is usually too deep and hits the window. Theres a few threads on here if you do a search.

You have a 87 right? If so the above picts are wrong. the S4s have a spot for 4s under the dash and a spot for 5 1/4s (?) in the middle of the door! Useles spot for them. If you want to put some 5 1/4s or even 6 1/2s in the lower front of the door panel you can get them in with a little cutting. The manual door panels are alot easier to do this on but the panels with the map pocket can be done too. I have a set of boston accoustis 6 1/2s in mine.
I'll post pics of my panels tommorow if you are interested. (tired right now

Me want se NOA!
You can get a 6.5" in there without cutting - you need to space it out though - man there is alot of PJ's going on right now like this as I've posted it a bunch of time recently. Regardless - here is a pic and a how to
