Insanely Crazy Housing Question
Ok.. well here it goes... i think i had a coolant leak which was fixed by that dodgy 'block weld' technique... BUT... it has hard starting problems.. which may be low compression from rusty rotors and housings?
here is the question... if i take out the spark plugs and put 'kill rust' or 'rust killer' (whatever you would like to call it) in the engine... and turn it over manually every day for a couple days, if there is rust there, it will kill the rust.. and will it build compression?
thanks for your input.. and yes.. im abit crazy

The engine is dead. Even if you clean out the rust, it's not long for this world. The longer the parts sit in moisture, the less chance there is of any of them being usable in a rebuild.

Update!!! Incase anyone asks this absurd question. Yes engine was extremely dead. Blown coolant seal, low compression. Problem fixed by replacement engine.
