Inner tie rod boot question

This is for all the part gurus out there, and anyone who works at a parts counter and might have one to measure.

I recently bought a set of inner tie rod boots from NAPA. The right boot went on just fine and is perfect. The left boot will fit over the inner tie rod, but the large opening will not fit on the rack housing.

The right tie rod boot measures 6.87" long, 1.74" on the large opening and .4" on the small opening. The left measures 6.62" long, 1.42" on the large opening and .36" on the small opening.

Do these measurements match the OEM measurements or is NAPA selling the wrong parts?
