Question Inline Fuel Filter... to small?

I wanted to save money and buy an aftermarket inline fuel filter. I ordered one of those russell clear ones, that are clean-able. Yeah, anyway. I got it, and its wayy to small. I don't think it'll work. I just want to be sure before i go out and buy a bigger one, that this of course is to small. Thanks, I need feedback.

ahh... looks like a fuel filter for a carb (10ish psi) setup... I think our EFI systems run... slightly... higher than that

I don't think carb's jetting would require quite the precision cleansed gas anyway. Those "filters" are usually just 1 mesh screen. The canister EFI ones are a little bit more elaborate (definately not by much though)...

EDIT: btw i think i paid ~20 something for mine ad aap/checkers

EDIT2: this is pretty crude looking, but you get the idea

EDIT3: and lastly, for those who've never seen the inside of an oil filter (those of us who haven't had to cut one out of out engine bay...)

Like any typical online market place with good prices, it didn't give a very good discription. I found out once I got the thing. It was only 6 bucks anyway.
