injector style for 88 turbo II

Hey i'm trying to order some injectors that are direct drop ins for our stock fuel rails. I did searching and can't really find anything. I don't want to order the wrong set and all that.. so just making sure. I'm ordering it from RC and they have Peak & hold, and saturated. Do i get the bosch style tops or what? thanks guys

The manufacture date of your '88 T2 will determine if you need peak/hold or saturated injectors.
Look in the FAQ's for your injector type info that your looking for.

But to help here is the info straight from the FAQ-

88 13B Turbo, high (saturated) square offset, 550cc, purple, 195500-1370

If you have a solenoid resistor pack located by your air box you will need peak/hold injectors.
If you don't have the resistor box you will need saturated injectors.

The resistor pack looks like this-

You will need Denso style injectors no matter what though if you want drop in.
The part number for RC engineering injectors ends with a D for denso style.

Are you going with larger injectors?

except those in your picture are Peak and Hold and not Saturation... you can tell by the locating tab being centered. The 87.5 and 88 use an offset locating tab... not a centered one.

he has an 88. he would need to add resistors in (not remove a non-existant resistor pack) unless he has an early production model. I have those exact Greddy/Denso injectors on my 88.

That's why I said there are no "direct drop in" because there are very few top feed injectors rated at more than 550cc.
