Question injector removal

hey guys, I was planning on taking out my injectors so that i could send them out to be cleaned. As usual i wanted to look up some info on the process so that i wouldnt be going into this blindly. does anyone know of where i can find some good diagrams and instructions as to how to do all this? pictures really help!

Why do you need a diagram? Depressure your fuel system is first. Remove manifolds while marking each location of each hose and each harness clip. Take pictures while removing everything for extra saftey. Thats enough info for you. Good luck!

+1 on depressurizing the fuel system.. i forgot to do that one time and got sprayed in the eyes with gas.. it was a blast.

sooo yeahhhhh... i suppose its a fuse that you pull to stop the fuel pump, which depressurizes the fuel system. which fuse would that be and where can i find it?

To de-pressure it's as easy as unscrewing the gas cap. Or you could do a de-flood procedure probly.

just pull it off and dont be stupid and put your face on it.... wont get you in the eye...
never like the idea of dry-firing injectors... its a car that has what, 30psi in the rails?
its not like a common rail diesel where the psi is high enough for something stupid to happen...
