El Nene 7 and anyone else doing this or wanting to do this I would be glad to help you through it. I was very serious in my blog that if you need to ask what is involved you do not need to be performing this swap at this time. You just will end up sorry you tried it. Either research on here follow the people that are doing it and learn what needs to be done before trying or abandon the idea.

Talking on PM with El Nene 7 it seems he has the means to complete the swap so I will gladly help you.

I posted a list of parts you will need I forgot some things like the front sub frame, accel cable. Maybe some other stuff but nothing you won’t notice along the way. A good rule is if you need to take it out of your car then you will need to replace it with JDM part.

The swap can not be done with the motor in the car! The harness is very hard to get out there is allot of stuff it goes to. Believe me it will be a pain removing the front harness.

If anyone has specific ?s you can ask them here on PM or in the blog. Please keep them more specific it is a pain listing for 10 people how do I do this or can you walk me through the swap. I get them all the time on PM and no I cant but I can help you.

The conversion took me 3 saturdays. I striped the JDM body harness and re wraped it took me another 2 days. Put evrything back together IE RHD stuff will take about 1 full day another day working all the kinks out.

The time just depends on your tools and how good you are.

Why don't you just import a complete car from japan and swap the vin# from your car?

damn, i think you'll beat me on this one....... im in the process of building my monster motor..... bridge-ported, microtech, t70 turbo....blah blah, shooting for 450rwhp...but its eating up all my $$$$ right now..... after that im gonna get the rhd conver. done (unless i come across a killer deal on a motorless front clip)...sounds like NOPR has most of what you need..... keep me posted.... if you do get this done soon, make sure you take pics for me through the process......

you'll be driving on the right side before me, but ill be faster..neener neener neener...lol....

My mistake, out of the 20-30 people to post about this ONE has accomplished it. More power to you.

Yup, you're right, that's the reason they don't let idiots write the rules. The sad thing on this forum, is I still manage to contribute more technical knowledge on the 2nd Gen, and even the rotary then 3/4 of the "mad tyte drift yo" scene people do. Regardless, my problem isn't with people doing something different. It's with people TALKING about doing something. I have no difference in feeling toward people that talk about V8 swaps or anything else without actually accomplishing anything.

To the creator of the thread, please do prove me wrong on this. I understand the novelty of what you're trying to do, and you'll probably do well in the import car show scene with a RHD. Have fun in traffic though.

ahhahah drive through window in reverse..ahahahaha

cough... i got a front clip from japan. I took out the engine and tranny, ecu, gauges. i was going to do RHD conversion, dont have the tools or time or patience, so the clip is for sale. Sub frame, steering rack, steerinf wheel <momo, its junk> dash all the wire under dash, blower for the heater, ac thing, pedals EVERYTHING THAT COMES ON A CLIP except the things that i took out... note I CUT THE STRUT TOWERS TO MAKE SMALLER SO I COULD SHIP IT. dimensions = 5inches away from fire wall to starting point of the shifter. ITS RED INCOLOR , lol thought i trew that in...

How much do you want? I am interested in purchasing striped clips to do RHD conversions for customers and forum members.

subframe is about 15lbs. The size of evrything would be a killer.

You are a freakin long ways away. See if anyone wants me to do one for them.
