IM think about buying an 1991 RX-7 and need some help

Hey all im new to this forum..... so HI
But the real reason why im typing this is becasue im think aobut buying a 1991 RX-7 NA. I was woundering how reliable thsi car is and if there are any reacoring problems that this car might have. Thanks for all your guys help

ive owned 4 na's and the only reoccuring problem it might have is flooding every now and then other than the usual switch failure in things like winshield wipers, power windows and etc. but other than that the na is more reliable than a t2...imo

id go with the t2 but the na is less expensive.u can always upgrade to a t2 after a while anyways.

If the engine is in good shape and has been maintained well, many normally aspirated rotary engines last for 150k-200k miles. There's a thread in this section about parts most likely to break, and most are just minor annoyances.

Give the car a thorough inspection before purchasing. A compression check would be a good idea, but can be costly from the Mazda dealer ($75, IIRC). Look for good rotary mechanics in your area if you don't know that much about them yet.

yes, good maintenence is critical on a high millege rx-7.
