I'm REALLY liking this Guage Pod, but
I'm really not liking the $217 price.
Anybody know who might be making knock offs or something similar that costs less than almost buying a whole car?

Kinda think that it looks like Mickey mouse ears myself, but you used to be able to get a LHD version at the RX7store or something like that... but still pricey... like $200 as I recall.

they make this one (both gauges on one side) but the glare is pretty bad when they are on top on the dash like that.

I always thought those look like crap when viewing through the front of the car where it overlaps the original dash, sitting in the car it sometimes looks good, sometimes looks a bit goofy.
Why not mount 2 gauge cups to the gauge surround? At least later on you can just replace the gauge surround if you wanted to go back to stock.

i saw that installed in a FC and it looks nice. i liked it and looked into it but lost interest after what i heard around the forums about retro-spec.net.
they supposely take super long to processing time on the orders and also some of their work are bad quality(eg. size, fitment, and bad carbon fiber quality on some produsts). i suppose i should say, search retro-spec.net on the forum.

I'm the one who found that gauge pod model for HOZZMANRX7. And to add about retro-spec's processing with orders, well like katkaroto mentioned above it takes them forever to process an order. I purchased 2 different gauge pods on August 15th and today not only did I not receive them yet but they did not even provide me with a tracking number. And in terms of quality I cant say anything yet but so far i'm taking his word for it. If anyone can comment on retro-specs quality of parts or comment on retro-spec business wise, please do so or open a new thread.
