Angry I'm not really understanding this....

Ok.. with Brian Smith, Steve and Dale.. I'm getting alot of help. Now.. one of the 7s that isnt running, they took that fuel pump and mine.. and compared them two together... to figure out why it's reading pooring when fueling up and driving. They switched my fuel pump with the other 7 to see if it makes a difference. I'm pretty sure the one I have now is in good standing condition.

Here is what is really topping me off...

I just got back from filling up - sure, it was about ½ tank low, but I really don't think this particular misunderstanding I'm having is going to make a tad bit difference.

I fill up... 10.379 gals... Total of it was $13.90. I know it can go higher than that - the gas thing popped, which normally means it can't fill anymore up. I tried - and it wouldn't let me.. That means it's full. Ok.. so.. I pay and go on my merry way. I start up the car... let the guage set back into place... It doesnt even show it's filled up? WTF? It was below the double line for the Fuel.

Can anyone... figure this out? It's beginning to annoy me. I know damn well the rx7s don't eat up all that much gas, and I'm pretty sure that the fuel pump I have in now - isn't bad.. so if this one isnt bad.. mines not bad.. then something entirely is messed up in the fuel system.. but what is it??

<frustrated>

it is not the pump. I was haveing the same problem, but mine would show full then at about half tank go to empty. you have a bad sending unit. It is the thin metal piece with the wire twisting down it. That needs to be replaced. I would try the other one you get, just slap in the whole unit with the fuel pump.
