I'm Finally back in the game.....

I'm finally back. I finally found another s5 t2 chassis. Its been 2 months since I got this car, but just got it running and driving 2 weeks ago. It was a pretty good find. Here are the specs:

1991 Mazda Rx-7 Turbo
103524miles on chasis
Winning Blue (Rare)
Black leather interior
Bonus: Lots of Aftermarket parts
Replaced engine with low mileage JDM engine with 102psi front 101psi rear

Here's the current mod list
BLITZ Sus Power Air Intake
RON DAVIS Radiator
HKS Stock Replacement Intercooler
Old School HKS Blow off valve
Racing Beat REV-TII Full Exhaust
TEIN HA 16Level adjustable COIL OVER
TEIN F&R Pillow Upper mount
NARDI Steering Wheel
BLITZ Dual SBC Boost Controller
APEXi Electronical Temp Gauge
HKS Mechanical Boost Gauge
Front Lower Arm Bar
Zenki Mechanical LSD
MAZDASPEED Hard Rubber Engine Mount
MAZDASPEED Hard Rubber Trans Mount
MAZDASPEED Hard Rubber Differential Mount
MAZDASPEED Hard Rubber Rear Bushings
Simpson Camlock Restraint
E-Brake Mod
HKS PFC F-CON with HKS GCC
720cc Secondary Injectors
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump

Plans this year is to get Innovate Wideband, HKS Turbo Timer Type 1, 4x720cc Fuel Injectors, BNR Hybrid Turbo Stage 1 at 12psi (14-15psi for race), HKS FMIC, Black Magic Electric Fan, and some good tires. Later on, I also plan to change to Fluidyne or Koyo Dual Pass Radiator and change to HKS EVC Boost controller. These are my plans for the year and will play around with this setup until I find the need to go To4e or I'll keep this setup if I get another Rx-7 and put a to4e on that. But who knows what will happen. Well, here's some pics:

That looks like brave blue to me, winning blue is not an FC stock color.

How exactly did an s5 blue exterior car end up with black interior? Black and blue don't go together all that well IMO...and the blue is beautiful when cleaned up once in a while, meanwhile black gets dirty before you even get done vacuuming it off. Personal experience.

Great find, though.

Oh, who is Ron Davis, and why do you have his radiator? It's not nice to get people's **** you know.

That blue is a bit dark for my tastes, but a great find nonetheless! What kind of deal did you get on it? Any idea when you might be getting rid of that HKS top mount ... :-)

Maybe. I don't know. I miss my white 90 T2. Looking for a white s5 t2 with black interior like I had before.

I don't know how I got winning Blue. The other type of blue is Harbor Blue Metallic. I guess I mixed up winning silver with the blue. lol. Anyways, I have no problem with the black interior. mine is in immaculate shape and shines with armor all. No cracks in the interior or rips on the seats. I can see how blue interior would match a blue car like my first 91 NA, but I've seen plenty of blue cars with black interior. I think black matches with anything because its a plain flat color. But hey everyone has there own opinion. Its cool.

and I don't know who Ron Davis is, but thats what the radiator brand is called according to the guy I bought it from. I'll be going Koyo Dual Pass or Fluidyne soon.

I am running the HKS F-CON with HKS Graphic Controller to control my fuel, because I will be running a hybrid stage 2 at most for now, but most likely stage 1. As soon as I go To4e next year or so, I will go Microtech. Still got to do my suspension.

Its ok if you don't like the blue, everyone has there own opinion. Understandable. It does get twisted heads everywhere I go, and I get compliments everywhere I go as well. I just need to get rid of the stickers at the sideskirt though.

I bought the car for $2000 with blown front rotor and it came with 3/4 of the mod list. The best part was the Tein Type HA Coilovers, which is about the same price as the car itself. I already had my jdm motor, so it was straight engine replacement and did a compression test today and got 105psi front 106 psi rear. Not bad.

I don't know if I will sell that HKS top mount Intercooler. Since, I don't really want to go FMIC yet. This TMIC is a lot bigger than stock with bigger endtanks too. It fits the stock hood well, and I wanna see if it does well on 12-14psi on a BNR Stage 1 or 2 before I go t4 with fmic.

Thanks guys, for the comments.
