im concerned about my fuel system

i had an event that im trying to determine if its an issue.
i was out driving full throttle at the top of third gear (about 7-8K) when it felt like the fuel cut out because there was a suden lack of powere for just a second until the rpms droped back down. i realy hope it didnt cause any damage 'cus as we all know fuel cut at high rpm is a great recipe for detonation. i did only have about 1/8 of a tank left but fuel didnt cut out when i was doing hard turning just a few seconds before and i have been driving hard with even less gas in the tank and not had this problem before. my fuel sytem is entirely stock but i run a bottle of techron every oil change. i dont know if the injectors were changed on the reman so its anyone's guess as to how old they are. i typicaly run a little rich so this inciden surprised me.

please weigh in with anything i should check/fix/do to keep this from happening again.

on a related note: is my stock fuel sytem cappable of handling my mods (mods in sig)?
