right now, ive got the bridgeported motor, and all the stuff necessary to carburate it, but i called up racing beat and they said that id need to go with a lower psi or lph fuel pump since the carb doesnt have a return line. where can i get a fuel pump like this? should i look at aftermarket fuel pumps for first gens?

is the motor already built? i'd love to see how big the ports, but i guess i'll just have to hear em instead.

 

heh, ya, its together sitting in my buddies garage right now...its sunday, so naturally i cant get a hold of don today.... ill call him tommorow if the forum cant help me out.

 

are you looking for an in tanke pump or an external? If your looking for an externall summit racing has reall good holly ones for like $100

 

Considered using a fuel pressure regulator? Using a bypass type regulator allow you to plumb a return line to the tank from the regulator instead of the carb. You can then set your pressure to whatever the carb wants (normally 3-5 PSI) via the regulator...

 

i actually asked racingbeat about doing that, and it sounds like a good idea, but they said that the pump would crap itself after a few thousand miles....ill probably end up with a holley unit or something....
