i'm about to replace my turbo gasket..
what all do i need to do besides seperate the turbo from the manifold to get to it? is this a difficult task? Who has done it, give me the easiest and simple way to do it...if there is such a way.
thanks
thanks
taking off the turbo is preatty easy. It takes me about 2-3 hours to get it off and on again.
IMO it's easiest to take off the turbo, and manifold together, than seperate them once the turbo is off.

2-3 hours? Man, you havent done it enough.
Take off downpipe.
Drain coolant and oil.
Remove airbox and turbo air duct.
Remove Intercooler, and pipe between Intercooler and turbo.
Unbolt the coolant and oil lines and remove them.
Unbolt 4 bolts holding turbo on to manifold.
Walaa. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Im sure I missed a few small things, but nothing major that will hang you up.
