Sometimes I have a hell of a time getting the key out of the iginiton of my 88 Vert. Yo have to push the key in to get it to release. Short of putting in a new ignition is there and easy fix? I hate to get and ignition from the boneyard as the key will be different.

My 1989 GXL does the same thing. I have gotten to the point now that I can just do it second nature though. You have to tilt the key a bit while pulling it out. It is kind of goofy, but I cannot justify replacing the ignition cylinder just because I have to tilt the key.
