ignition system questions

OK just 2 quick questions abotu ignition systems

1) is the msd 6a universal and transferable from anycar?

2) i know the crane hi-6 is not but will one from a 92 mustang work on a fc?

Make sure it's a *HI-6* and not a *HI-6S* - note the "S".
The boxes do not care what car they are installed it - the HI-6 will work in your FC, even though Crane Cams tech support claims you can't do it.
