Question ignition switch probz?

im pretty sure my ignition switch is out!
what r some side effects to that going bad?
is click click of the ignition one? does n e thing gohaywire ( kinda ) on the warning panel where the clock is? horn blow erratically?

No, that's a CPU problem. Sounds like it needs to be resoldered.

well ill go to turn the ignition to the on position and itll klik klik klik sometimes until i get that lucky turn and it turns the engine over.... i have looked and relooked at the cpu resoldered everything and its good! wondering about the ignition switch though i have been told it is the ignition switch .. the only thing on the warning light kluster that acts up is the door light comes on every so often especially when i hit a bump well ok hope thatz enough....

Where’s the click coming from? It might be a dodgy starter solenoid.
Unplug the ignition switch and check it using the chart below.

BRAND NEW starter! i know about that manual thing but i dont have a multimeter and it jus slips my mind everytime im in discount auto parts to get one
