Ignition switch

I'm buying an 86 GXL na and the guy said he hasn't tried to start it. It has no ignition switch. The engine will turn over by putting the car in gear (5th) and rolling the car forward. So If I got an ignition switch you think it would start normally?
Or what would I have to get to get it to start regularly?

Thanks for the help.

Its a crap shoot. The ignition switch has a number of functions. It provides power for anything that requires power in RUN OR AUX POSITIONS. Like, ignition, fuel pump et al.
