Ignition problem

My car 88 vert has been sitting for the past few months under a car cover after I disintegrated the driver's side front wheel bearing. Naturally, the damn thing won't work now. The battery is new, I don't see any blown fuses, the starter cranks, the engine will fire up and run but only when the key is kept in the "Start" position, but as soon as I release the key to the "On" position, the engine dies. I have been poking around with my ohmmeter and the FSM trying to figure out if the ignition switch is the problem, but it seems like there are too many connections with no continuity when I test it. I'll have to go home tonight and type an update for which connectors have no continuity.

I found this thread https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...gnition+switch, but the links don't work and so it's not much help to me. If anyone has a good link, that would be cool. I appreciate any help!
