do the leading coils in any way ground through where they bolt to the frame on the s4 tii's.

 

Yes. The IGNITOR in the coil package grounds thru its base to the chassis. In other words it HAS to be bolted to the chassis to work. If you unbolt it and lay it on the fender on top of some rags, it will not work.
