Every 91 I have seen has a sunroof......except mine. ANyone else not have one? Am I the owner of the only sunroof-less 91 out there () Not to complain, I am VERY glad to not have one!!

 

dude, i have never seen any fc without the moonroof.

 

I used to have an 88 without a sunroof.

 

there were a lot of series 4 cars without sunroofs, but other than a couple of GTUs models I have never seen a series 5 without a sunroof, and certinly not a 91.

But look at it this way, now you have more head room for a raceing helmet for those track days!!!!

 

I have a 91 NA. Mine has a HUGE sunroof!

 

my 86 Base has no sunroof.....where the hell is like a production numbers list around? i kinda wanna see what cars and how many came with what, ect ect..

So that's what that big hole is on my 91......j/k man.....It gets to be a pain when you have to push it to get it going....

 

same here rex man on my 91 gotta reach to the roof and help the suroof side to close my 91 has one

 

Silicone spray lube on the tracks, and wiped on the gasket about once a month - works perfect..

my 91 has a sun roof, i thought they were standard, very weird that you donthave one. I know that i dont have cruise and i thought that curise control was standrad. Do you know how retarded it is driving from north of san fran to san diego without cruise, my foot hurts at the end of the drive.

 

You are all GTUs want-to-beeeeez haha jk. Its all about not having a sun roof. I had a 1986 with one and I could not fit in there with my helmet. But with my GTUs no problem .

 

Didn't they build the 91's from spare parts they had left over? Isn't this why half of the time the parts are different between 91's (and even the 89+'s?)

 

Are you talking about the clear stuff that you can find a the auto parts store, lubes the weather stripping as well?

Should the tracks be cleaned out before doing this? Can the roof be removed easily, mine seems to work alright but clicks very loudly just as it opens or closes! Sounds like something jumping the track or slipping.

Suggestions?

 

well at least you dont get the green house effect as bad in your car when you dont have a sun roof.

I have a '90 GTU that originally didn't have a sunroof, but a previous owner decided to put an aftermarket one in. Apparently, he was loaded...rich people do funny things.
