Is this question assuming you could only use the money made from selling your FC? (And to keep things even, pretend you had a decent s5 TII and it sold for $5k) or is money no object?

If I only had the $5k, I'd probably get a Miata, save for a while, and drop a 13bt into it.

If money was no object, 20B RX-8.

If I was going to spend approximately the same amount of money ($3500-$5000) I would pick up a Mitsubishi Starion. If I was going to get another RX-7, I'd pick up a '78 or '79 SA.

I had a 83 Starion before I picked up the Turbo II. I loved the car because no one had a clue as to what it was.. It drove great and never gave me any problems. So you couldn't have gone wrong that direction either.

If I had to sell my Turbo II... I would probbably dump the money into my Galant VR-4 I have. Its quick right now so I guess I would dump the cash into suspension....

I always have had my eyes on either a Delorean, or 300zx TT just depended on the mood.

hmmmmm, NO rx7's for me at all?

I guess I'd have to be the first to swap an LS1 into an S2000, or swap an LS1 into a late 90's BMW 3series coupe, or swap an LS1 into a '90-'93 Miata, or buy a used C5 Z06 vette and be done with tinkering.

of course, a datsun 510 fully tricked out would be awesome but those are super rare around my neck of the woods.

If i HAD to sell my 7... i'd get a VW TDI. Complete opposite of the rotary; a hell of a lot more torque than hp, not fast, not breaking down all the time, and stupid good on fuel.

If I had to replace my FC, and at the moment I am getting frustrated enough to get rid of it, I'd need something rear wheel drive. Drifting is just too much fun and after driving rear wheel drive, there really is no substitute. Import or build a Nissan 180SX, maybe an 86, or a Jeep Wrangler. At least I wouldn't get in as much trouble in a Wrangler as I do with sports cars.LOL.

i've always had my eye on 1g DSMs (eclipse/talon). The starion, like cake said is not a bad idea. 220 hp rwd. damn quick car. Other than that, i would get an R1 or GSX-R.

No need for a replacement, the cars would move one to the left. The CLK becomes the daily driver, and the lawnmover moves to "weekends only" status
