what could result? especially if combined with TPS

i think it may be causing my high idle

i ask this question because my AWS has been coming on in 70 degree weather

 

im not sure on the high idle but maybe youll be running rich?? I though the aws comes when engine temp is cold, not depending on outside temperature??....but isnt the idle maintained by the idle speed control??

 

AWS is the 3k idle. If its just a high idle then that is from the thermowax operating the fast idle cam. That comes on whenever the coolant temp is below operating temperature. It will come one when its 110 outside if the engine is "cold", trust me I know.

 

I recently broke the prongs off of my stock IAT- my, bad.... anyways, what do I do for that- the car seems to run great, exepct it has occaisionally dies at lights/stop signs. There are no deakers around- where can I get a new one.

 

how do I go about fixing the thermowax problem?
