If I were to do it all over again....

i love my 90 FC, but the more I think about it the more I realize that I messed up.

I bought the car not long ago and its in good shape w/ 130K but if i could do it all over again i would buy one for around $800.

That $800 RX-7 would have a good body but a blown motor. Then I would have enough money for a streetport, full exhaust, and intake ALL AT ONCE!!!!

I would also have enough money for momo racing seats and then soon after I would be able to get new wheels!

I AM SUCH AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY ME........WHY!!!!!!!!!

instead now i have a STOCK rx-7 and i can hardly afford exhaust!!!!!!

Dont worry man, i think we all do that our first time, my 88GTU was over the 3K mark, it was in near mint condition aside from some minor paint and has only 63K on it.. but still, i see TII's go for half that everyday and i grab the biggest heaviest object i can and slam it on my nuts to teach myself a lesson, haha, oh well.. im just going to play with what i have now and sell it later probably for a turboII, maybe turbo the GTU.. hell i dont know... .all fun and games man

You think you got it bad.

I paid (in '95) $12,500 for my '90 vert.

just be thankfull you dont have an FD. I know so many people that finance complete piles of garbage and then have the motor explode.

I hear ya man. I originally got my 87TII for a decent price, but wound up dropping a shitload of money into it, for repairs and mods. The end product was nice, low 14's in the 1/4. But the thing had been mistreated as a youngster and I kept having bs problems. I ended up selling it for 5k.

Then I got a nice reliable Integra, DIDN'T rice it, actually did some real suspension mods and intake. (get 28mpg doing 90mph all day long)

And now, The current plan I'm in the market for a base sunroof-less, as stripped down as I can get it, no power anything, blown motor, but perfect body 86-88 rx7, I see them all the time for under 1000 bucks.

Get the chassis, then swap everything over from a TII suspension / diff / trans. And build the hell out of the N/A motor, porting (haven't decided which yet) and get about 200rwhp, and make the car weigh about 2300llb and still be street legal badass N/A. I figure 1k chassis, 4k motor, 1k in mods, I'll have one kick *** N/A that might actually be reliable

I love it when a plan comes together
a little A-team for ya there...LOL
