idle screw on throttle body question

idle screw on throttle body question

i have an NA throttle body s5 i wanted to adjust the idle but there is no screw... is that why it wont idle? lol n can i replace the screw ??? thanks

yea i dont have that screw will that mess with my idle also since im using the NA TB on a t2 i dont hav the ASV on it so thats prob a big no no ??

There should still be an adjustable throttle stop of the lower butterfly on the tb thats accessable. Normally in an NA manifold would be by the firewall. If you play with that you'll have to adjust the tps after.

Air Supply Valve is a non issure. The BAC on turbo cars has a screw to adjust the idle. If your BAC is non turbo then you don't have that screw on the BAC.

Do what the post above suggests.

checked the bac valve it doesnt hav a screw in it either

If my car wernt at RX7 getting a top I would just snag a pic of the throttle stop.

Take a pic of your tb. If its a N/A tb on a tii engine it'll be upside down so get a pic of the side facing the water pump. Its gonna be a flat head screw with a jam nut on it.
