idle question?

idle question?
ok i replaced all my vacum lines and it still idles at 500 rpm. my question is, what is a good idle speed? i plan on adjusting the idle control, and i need to know where is a good stopping point?

What's wrong with 500? I think spec range is 500-750.

Don't listen to that.... For idle to be within spec it must be 750 + or - 25 rpms.

Like I said, "I think". But it still hasn't been answered about what's wrong with 500?

My old 7 used to idle right around there. But my new one is about 1k...after the accident.

nothing is wrong with 500. i just thought that seemed a little low. i adjusted the idle screw and the throttle and now i idle between 700-800. but thanks for the info.
