idle problem tps cam ???? (searched)

Hi all,

I have a really stange problem I just bough another rx-7. I have an 88 for my fisrt one. Now i juste buy a 90.

On the 90, i have several problem on it. The idle is very rough at warmup temp. Befor getting warm, it idle at 2K very constant. after that it's start to bouncing from 1.2K to 2K. I have checked the cood reading from the cluster units with the test connector grounded. I have 2 codes:

Cranck angle sensor
Full throtle
Split air valve.

The split air valve is not there anymore since the guy have remove the emmision stuff. and put a cutom block of plate.

For the cranc angle sensor i don't know what is the problem because i have check the ohms and he is wintin spec (150 Ohms both side)

For the tps, This is probably the one that cause all the problem.

I have adjusted it to 1K. But whan i check the yellow wire on the tps, I read 0.03 V at idle. and goes to 4.76 at WOT. I think this is suppose to be a 0.8V at idel and 4.3 at WOT. I would like to know if the Thermowax have something to do with this ?

I have check for vacc leak and found nothing. I have prayed some carb cleaner on each hoses.

Hope you can help me on this one.

Make sure you adjust the TPS with the engine fully warmed up, otherwise it will still be off. The thermo wax needs to be heated to get a proper adjustment.
