Idle Problem (BOV Help)

I recently installed a HKS SSQV in my 1991 Rx7 Turbo, however, after installing the BOV I had problems with the car losing rev and dying out. I was told that I should move the MAF sensor after the BOV. Sorry, I'm new to Rx7s and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Just installed the stock BOV, having the same problem. The idle still drops after warming up. I have to keep tapping on the throttle to keep the it from dying out. Could it be a vacuum leak or something? The engine is completely stock now. How are the lines on the T clamp thing suppossed to go? I have one connected to the BOV, one to the Pressure Sensor, but not quite sure where the other hose is supposed to go.

You need to check for vacuum/boost leaks. I use a pressure tester like the one they sell here: www.boostpro.net/prodtester.html , universal tester. You can also make your own out of home depot parts. Clamp that into your intake, pressurize it, then listen and feel for air escaping. Also spray slightly soapy water around and see where it bubbles.

Yah I was going to use soapy water to check for boost leaks again. I was checking for leaks last night and used silicone to prevent any boost leaks. Doesn't seem like there is a leak anywhere though. Is it possible it could be something other than a boost leak?
