Idle problem

I have a 1991 N/A Rx7 idle problem. On start up she idle's at 1800 RPM, then after a few min. she'll bounce from 1000-1600 RPM. Once at running temp. i runs normally. What can be my problem???????????

could be your TPS, or your BAC, or most likely your thermowax is not fully opening up, has to be related to cold start i believe

search for it there has been many threads on this, I got a afc-2 that helped alot
when i replace the header gasket should run perfectly.
