idle problem

i got a 91 rx7 non turbo. when i start it, it idle's fine but when i drive about a hundred feet or further and stop the idle drops to about 500 rpm's and feels like it's gonna stall then it goes back up to like just under a grand the falls again. it also feels like i's lost a ton of power. also when the rpm's drop the exhaust shakes and makes a squeeky rattle noise? what's wrong with it?

your warm idle isn't set correctly. you must use the screw on the bac or set the tps

what is the bac or tps (i'm not mechanically inclined i just want to know what's wrong so i sound smart telling the mechanic what i think is wrong. unless it's so simple i could fix myself.

Download the FSM from www.fc3s.org

That has the procedures for setting the idle. Read them carefully, as you can really mess things up if you arent careful.
