Idle in neutral and in gear.
Hey guys, I was making adjustments on my car last night and I realised something that never really crossed my mind untill now, the issue is that when I'm idling in neutral i have a solid 700-750 rpm idle, with a minor bounce but no big deal i think, but when i put it in gear the idle will drop to 500-550 and get relatively rough compared to in neutral, is this normal or should I look after something.
On a side note have any of you n/a guys put an safc/safcII or afc-neo into your cars and what general settings do you have them set too, I'm installing one tonight and was wondering what the general census on this was, I know the correction will mostly be a negative since fc's run a little rich in stock form, so how negative can I go?

The RX7 does idle differently in neutral than in gear when cold, but I think that it is about the same warm. Does the clutch disengage completely (does it go into reverse ok?)
Under low throttle conditions, you can run quite lean (16-17 AFR.) Under full throttle, I hear that 11-12 (max) is a good AFR.

Check your clutch freeplay... it may be partially engaged, even though your foot is on the pedal.
Also, check the hydraulics and bleed them if you need to.
