idle issue (stumped) gurus help!!!!
(87t2 streetport) ive never read anything like this so i think this is a first. some back round on the car- rebuilt 87t2 street port no emissions, new alternator, brand new injectors, new gaskets/seals/gromets(no vac leaks), new plug wires, new plugs, new o2 sensor, no cats, adjusted tps to1k ohm (tps and idle screw are both adjusted almost all the way out). car will run like its running on 1 rotor and rpms will accelerate very slowly under no load and will eventually build 1 or 2 pounds of boost just by revving unless the following steps are followed.
1. remove all spark plugs
2. take out egi fuse
3. crank engine over to remove fuel from all housings
4. install spark plugs
5. start
this process will allow the car to start and idle normally. once the car idles for about 10 min or so when you shut the car off car will not restart even by just pulling the egi fuse and cranking and then putting it back in and trying to start. i know that the water temp sensor connection on the water neck isnt great but i didnt think it would effect it. please give me somewhere to start i am almost out of options. i do have a power fc for the car but i dont think installing it will fix it, only complicate the situation.

hey bro, just read up on your **** and found it similar to a thread that was revived and i'm glad i ran into it as well. its old but read up on it. if your running the stock ecu, it will help a lot supposely. i'm going to try it soon as well, and hopefully it'll help you and me out on this issue.
