The PO of my car had performed most of the TB mod (all but grinding down/smoothing out the center bit), but something must have gotten bent or mis-aligned on re-assembly, cause the throttle doesnt close all the way, making the car idle at ~1500. I can force it closed, then it idles at a decent 800, but the moment you touch the gas, the throttle plate frees up and won't return to the fully closed position. To combat this, I am going to try to plug the hole in the primary throttle plate, and just adjust idle with the return screw. Can anyone see any down-sides to doing it this way? Thanks
