Idle + alarm question

Idle + alarm question
1987 s4 TII
fresh mazda reman motor, deleted air pump, acv, egr, and pre cat.
I set the idle, tps, and ignition timing. I only have a few hunderd miles on the new motor so i think i should wait to set it because after I set it, i drove it 100 miles and then apon restart the idle was at 600 (steady)
compression is always getting better as it doesent flood anymore after a hot restart.
My question is when the car is first started in the morning 80deg.F it goes to about 900 for a few sec then idles at 750
isnt it sopposed to go to like 3000 or is that only below like 60?
2nd question (as i dont have a owners manual)
how does the factory alarm work? and does the TII have power door locks?
