I really need some help if anyone knows please help and explain with some detail please.

ok my idiot lights flash once in a while, while im driving (all of them) and my clock comes on and turns off every so often and my damn door lights are on all the time with egnition and wont shut off my dome light stays off and my idiot light for the door stays on all the dAMN TIME.

this is an 86 gxl and when the car gets hot it will stall out and 2000 rpm and go down to 1500 then back up and it jerks the car and i cant move more than 5 mph,
i cannot figure out what the hel is wrong, somebody please give me a clue as to what could be wrong please i need some true help here

 

As for the idiot lights, you may have to take the cluster out and re-solder the connections, or the CPU may need replaced, or connections resoldered. As for the running condition, is your TPS plugged in?? and if it is is it set properly?? This could cause this problem.

 

how would i know if its set properly and were exactly is it
i just got this car so i dont know too much about it

 

Do a search for "TPS" or something similar. The easiest way is the "bug light" method. You basically need to either buy or build a test light, and set it according to that. Youll find tons of info if you search...more than I could give you here.
