Today i was doin a little racin and takin some hard turns...well as i took a hard right...the seat belt light came on...lol...guess it thought i was about to loose it and was warning me! Yes i had my seat belt on and nobody else was in the car with me! The idiot cluster isn't the original one...the washer light comes on for low fuel and the low fuel light comes on for the e-brake...kinda strange but i was juss wonderin if anyone had any ideas as to what it could be?!?!?! No beeps or buzzer...sometimes it will randomly beep though...like the key in the ignition beep when the door is open...no lights come on though...any help is most definately appreciated!

 

I do have the original cluster...i'm gonna put it in and see if it works...i dont know why it would have been swapped out to begin with!...well unless it doesnt work

 

I would imagine the most common reason to change the cluster would be to get a working clock.

 

Yeah i swapped them out yesterday...i think the connector is bad or somethin in the back of the original one...i have EVER recipt for everything that was done to the car...apparently someone crossed the battery terminals and screwed some junk up and there was somethin on there bout replacing that cluster...i took the old one apart and found a loose resistor for the clock....wrapped some electrical tape around it and TADA! it works just fine! All the lights are correct now....feel pretty stupid though....my washer fluid is just low enough to go off around hard turns hahaha
