hey guys,
my idiot cluster has been acting up for some time now. It actually doesnt work 90 percent of the time at all. no lights, no clock nothing.... every now and than for some reason the clock will come on and also the Stop light, for about an hour and go off again...

I am suspecting it could be due to the cold solder problem? but im not sure.. I would appreciate anyones opinion on what it could be. maybe a ground somewhere? thanks for your help guys..

 

I am having a similar problem with mine. Only the coolant/oil lights come on when the key is on, and the clock doesn't work. Every once in a blue moon, all the lights will come on, but the clock has never worked. I tried a resolder but it did nothing. I don't mean to steal your thread, but I'll be watching it for ideas to fix mine too.

 

Going through the solder points would be a good start.
