Ok i have a 88 tII and ive noticed a lil idel problem, my car idels perfect at around 800 rpm, then for a split second it sputters and drops idel and then goes back up. it keeps doin this and i dunno what it is, any help will be thankful.

hmm... HAve you tried a tune up?

 

Try cleaning the BAC valve, and searching the forums.

I would look for vacuum leaks. I have an 87TII and found that nearly ALL the vac lines had hardened up like macaroni. Found two broken - which dramatically affected idle - with just a casual examination of the engine compartment.
With the age and heat, you should count on most of the rubber on the engine to be bad.

Also check your tps and adjust it.

 

make sure to spell idle correctly, it would make forum searches a lot easier
