Ideas Anyone?

I have reached an impass. A confict of interest in my own thoughts. I own a 10ae, and I would like to get the most out of it, as far as performance, but at the same time its a 10ae. My question is this, and maybe I should post this as a vote: Should I stock it out, or modify the hell outta it? I love the idea of having a 10ae fully stock, like a collectors item, but what I really want is a modded out tII. Should I just buy another tII and super mod it, and restore the 10ae, or what?

I personally would mod the hell out of it. Sure it would be nice to have a clean, stock, 10ae, but its not nearly as fun as a modded TII.

I have a modified 10th AE. My conflict was the same. I choose to have a completely stock looking 10th AE, exterior and interior, yet have a performance driven engine bay. I satisfy both sides of the argument, since I didn't destroy my 10th AE, and its not slow.

Edit: What side of town you are you in??? I know of 3 other 10th AE's around here, but I haven't seen yours yet. PM me.

I like your thinking. I as well wanted a stock looking 10ae, but the engine bay was a complete blur.

I don't think the 10 ae is worth much more than any other S4 TII but I think it's also nice to have an unmolested original.

i personally like the stock look of fc's so i would leave the outside short of a new paint job but yeah the engine bay is a different story just ******* completely goes ***** to wall on it

Loving it. This was my original intent. My father has a 1973 Opel GT, and he swears by stock. My grandfather, OTOH is a hot rodder all the way. My philosophy is if someone has found a better way of doing it, use their way. Stock isn't necessarily the best.
Edit: especially in mazda's case. (emissions=crap)
