Ideas

Well I just sold my T2 the other day.. But I might end up getting another in a few months. I am getting a nice big check from the military when I finish training in november. I'll have around 7k to spend. Around 300 whp and sticky handling are what I'm looking for. Throw some ideas out there folks.

I don't care...it's not going to be a track car, and there aren't any good roads in missouri to run to give a good suspension a workout. It'll get the basics though. Silly drifters...

ummm beg the guy for you t2 back.... and start working on that or maybe if your lucky you could be a baller and get a fd. I would try to get another t2 and then start from there, an NA is cheaper but will cost more money in the long run to met the t2 being suspension and motor(trust me on this, im learning right now how much its costing)

pick up an S4 T2 with a tested good motor preferably with low miles. pick up a stage 3 hybrid and turboback exhaust. install a standalone engine management system and FMIC and upgrade the fuel pump to a walbro 255, 720cc injectors all the way around and remove emissions. install a set of coilovers, such as KTS for a fair price and have the car realigned with a little negative camber for handling but not to chew up the tires for normal driving in town then pick up your preferred style of wheels and tires. have a TID custom fabricated and install a koyo performance radiator.

those mods including the car and tuning would run right in the neighborhood you will have for cash, including labor. with proper tuning you should get just over 300RWHP fairly easily and it will be a reliable setup.

where did i come up with the list? everything i listed is on my car, with the exception of the coilovers, you could just substitute some KYB AGX's with drop springs but coilovers is a better way to go for handling.

I like the way you think...but why S4?

BTW that setup was pretty much exactly what I was thinking.
