Iddle Problems?

I got my new engine to start,
However for some odd reason It runs, but doesn't iddle even with me applying on the gas. It runns for a bit then the RPM drops rappidly and then stalls.
I have checked double checked and rechecked everything.
The Throttle body mod was done on this car, would that affect this? I couldn't think that it would affect it that dramatically.
Thanks

does it die right away within like 2 to 3 seconds. does it keep running when you accelerate the engine to 3000 rmp or so?

did you remove the BAC? There is a big sized vacuum line going into the bottom of the intake tube on my NA S4 that we accidentally left off one time when I installed my cold air box. If that isn't there it does exactly what you described.

I am haveing a similar problem, my car will start and die almost right off the bat, then if i try to accelerate it just bogs and dies. i have also checked everything and i am starting to think its the AFM. try plugging/unplugging that.
