1st S4 T2 clutch type
2nd S5 T2 VLSD
3rd FD torsen
i haven't torn apart enough to know them on sight, just going off their physical attributes. there is n/a variants as well, but all sizes being equal they look like turbo 8" ring units.

From left to right:
1st S5 VLSD (It looks taller than the clutch type LSD. Hence, requiring the longer output shaft on one side.)
2nd S4 clutch type LSD (It resembles the NA LSD that I put into my 90 GXL)
3rd FD torsion

pretty sure you got the first two backwards. the viscous are smaller, more similarly resembling an open diff except more enclosed.

the torsen is an obvious giveaway with the worm gears

Well, you might be right about that. It's been 15 years since I installed that LSD. I'll need to go back and check the photos that I took during that install. Hopefully, I didn't lose them when my hard drive crashed last year. BTW, interesting links you posted.

Thank you Ben, the one on the left was the diff I wasn't 100% sure on....... it seems brand new, pretty cool as the S4 TII are freaking bulletproof and a direct fit in the FD casing..... I've been abusing mine for like 15 years now

ID that Diff, time for a game!!-na-lsd.jpg

Just following-up on my earlier post. The photo is that of an NA clutch-type LSD that I installed into my 90 GXL about 15 years ago. It matches up to the 1st (leftmost) LSD in the original post. So, insightful was correct with his identification of the photos.
