i want to get a lil more out the hole from my auto vert

i wanna do the 5 speed swap but maybe down the road.for now my auto tranny has about 12k on it and is shifting fine.if i decide to keep her i would like a lil bit more accellaration from a stand still.i've heard and read here that the best way to achieve this would be to change the rear to 4.11.i have a couple of questions 1.if i change to the rear to 4.11 will it be bolt on with out further mods.2 should it it be from a car with lsd rear. what models beside the tll have this. my car is a 1990 vert with racingbeat true dual exhaust header, presilencer fresh mazda reman 16k.any help would be appreciated.i put her up for sale but all i get is lowballers she is truly mint and if i dont get what desrves i will keep her and eventually do the turbo/5 speed swap

Don't waste your time man... Just go for the 5 speed swap. That slight change in gearing (from 3.9-4.1) won't be THAT noticable, plus it's in an auto. A 4.3 would be better... but if you swap to 5 spd you will change it to 4.10 anyway.

Do what I did. Ditch the NA engine and auto transmission, turbo swap that bitch, and never look back. I yanked out a running rebuilt NA engine with only 4K miles on it to do a turbo swap. I do not regret it AT ALL!

Flush the ATF with DexronVI.
Use a 75w90 LSD synthetic in the rear end.
Bump the timing 5+ degrees.
Install underdrive pulleys.
Install a thermostatically controlled e-fan.

The stick shift NA rearend is a bolt in. But, you'll have to address the speedometer issue.
I think that a switch to a higher stall torque converter would be better than the rearend swap.

Do what I do... get a dancer from one of the local clubs to ride in the passenger seat. Makes the car go faster, to everyone who is trying to check out the girl.

I've had people say swap the rear-end on my vert (5-speed) to get more on the low end. After I got over it and for the way I drive the car I realized I don't need it. If I was going to try and make smething ore of mine I'd just go ahead and do the whole turbo swap. The engine, drive train and rear-end. On the auto like your though that's a hard call. I'd be at least doing a T2 tranny, drive-shaft and rear-end if I was going to that much trouble.
