main issue is not having a cat. after that you can remove the dashpot from the tb. use lowest octaine gas. get the car good and warm, goose the throttle up to redline and snap it off as fast as you can. that should do it.

Will the precats kill any chance of flames? I have a CorkSport midpipe and catback, but haven't noticed any flames yet.

i think they will get yourself a racing beat header. cant beat the power gain for the money and it will get rid of the precats.

I was trying to spit flames out of my 89gtus yesterday but could not do it.. I have a Bonez high flow cat and a RP catback.. I revved it to like 7K and let off.. It would make a very small backfire but that was about it.. I wonder if im not revving it high enough.. ANy ideas????..

get rid of the cat and for the muffler use an n1 style instead of racing beat. then you should easily shoot flames.

I'll give ya mine...I hate the damn things. The flames burn your bumper and make your car look like hell. I don't shoot flames very often but when I do, I can see them in the rearview mirror up above my rear spoiler

i dunno, i kinda like the look of a burnt bumper, its kinda sexy. no? by the way you capitalized "I WANT TO BLOW FLAMES" im guessing youll be willing to do anyhting just to get flames? just get one of those ricey flame thrower things? if you dont want that id suggest what every1 has said in regards to exhaust setup. Strieght pipe will be VERY loud though. i have a strieght pipe on my turbo and i can make car alarms chirp at idle in parking garages. it does blow some nice flames but thats not why i did this. essenitally if you eliminate your cats/resonaters, you will see some flames.

No, I have RB 2.5" DP and PS with the Apex'i 3" single N1 CB. This set-up is wayyy too loud for me, I guess I'm too old.

I have the RB full 3" turbo back exhaust going on before spring.

your car willonly nlow flames if its runnin rich enough. but yea a rb header and full 2.5" piping should pretty much give you your flames.

Whats wrong with racing beat mufflers? They are straight through just like all the other fart cans around.

If YOU want to blow flames:
1) Go to Taco Bell and eat 5-6 bean burritos.
2) Wait 1 hour
3) Bend over, position zippo lighter in vicinity of sphincter, let one rip.

If you want your CAR to blow flames:
1) Remove all cats from exhaust
2) Add more fuel
3) Single exhausts work better than duals.

Adding more fuel is the key. You can do this a couple of ways:
Turbo II fuel pump, 550 injectors in the secondary holes, add an Apexi S-AFC, or just eat more burritos.
