i think i just blew my engine hot can i tell

a couple days ago i was racing this one guy, so i was driving my car pretty hard. And then it made a funny noise and now my car is alot quiter. And i have about half the power that i use to. What is wrong?

Run a compression test, but ya sounds like your fuked.

someone was saying that when you blow an apex seal that you have allot of back fire and poping. is that true?

usually yes..becuase all the fuel you're throwing in the engine isnt getting combusted, due to the lost apex seal(s)

do the Ghetto Compression Test.

Pull the plugs, have someone crank. Feel the pulses on the front and rear rotors. Pulses uneven? Possible munched seal. Then get a Compression tester and verify.
