VIR (Virginia International Raceway) did a salvation army type fund raiser, Anyway I put my goodyear F1s on my gxl. The car stuck like glue: Butt when I turned hard left the car seemed to go into limp mode,no codes but ran like timing was retarded. If I cut the car off and restarted it ran fine until another hard left. At first it only happened a couple of times but at the end every left corner. It drove great on the way home. This has happened a few times before today.
I have adjusted TPS regrounded ECU changed afm and computer. Fuel pump problems was sugested to me but I don see how cutting ignition would fix this. Please advise all suggestions apprieciated

This might not be right, but have you checked the fuel filter that is on the fuel pump itself? I think I read a thread a while back when this was diagnosed. Basically, if that filter is dirty and then compound it by sloshing the fuel to one side during a hard turn, it makes getting the fuel to the engine difficult for the fuel pump. Pop out the fuel pump and take a look, it costs nothing to inspect it. If it is dirty, it is a relatively cheap replacement and can be bought at AutoZone, NAPA, or whatever.
that symptom is specific to left turns. It definately sounds like you need a new fuel sock. My car has the same problem. Hard left turn and fuel is completley cut. Sucks doesn't it?

That is correct. The car would not fix itself when I straightened up. It really didnt seem like fuel starvation, I could slowly press the gas and it would accerlate. If I pressed to fast popping and sputtering. Turn off and restart everything was fine. I know I probably need a new fuel pump anyway. Thank for your help.
If you ever get a chance to run on a track dont miss it, Its addictive as crack MDA runs twice a year at VIR
