Thumbs down I over heated my car the other day..need some help

I over heated the mazda..yea yea shame on me I know. the way it happend was that little hose going from the motor to the turbo, the bottoem of the hose blew out(litterally) so I didnt see anything wrong. I put a new hose on at the 7/11 and it ran like *******. well anyway my question is, what all should I buy to rebuild it and how do I measure the housings to make sure I didnt warp them?

dude how do you know its even hurt at all, i overheated my old N/A a few times and never warped anything or had any probs. start with the basics like: compression test, check plugs and wires, ya know stuff like that. im just saying this cause you dont want to just jump to conclusions.

The thing most likely to go first would be the coolant seals. There's a guide to check the cooling system at www.aaroncake.net. If the car won't start then the problem is probably something else. If you have bad coolant seals, rebuilding is $1,000-$1,500 for parts, plus another $600 if you need new housings. Takes several days. Or you can pay someone $2,000 (low, good local guy or the shop's cutting corners) to $3,000 (typical good rebuild) or more. Plus more for housings. So figure out the real problem first before you go that far.

You give up on the 7 that easy You should have kept you mx3 to begin with30 people all at one time or one per half in hour and then you can take breaks for lunch dinner and so on. Just messin with you but yea you might as well keep it there is not another car like a 7. Mx3 will never be a Rx7.
