Exclamation I Need A Transmission !

Hi-

Does anybody out there have a transmission they are willing to sell in good condition? My transmission that is 258,000 miles just broke on me . I am looking for a 1986 NA 5 speed manual. I am stranded a college and do NOT want to pay 2000 to have a "specialist" install one. Please reply to this post if you have anything to help. Or if you could, you can e-mail me at mse1@bryant.edu.
Thanks Alot.

Mike

FYI: There is no difference in length, width, hight, input, or output from the S4 to the S5 transmission.

The only difference is 5th gear.

87'-91' = .711:1

86' =.697:1

And I thought MY 5th gear was gutless!

If you don't have any other luck try;

Mazda Auto Recycling or Mazda Auto Dismantling both in Rancho Cordova, CA ... PM me if you need the phone numbers, I'm not sure the rules on posting that kind of stuff. I got my tranny from them for my 87 N/A they specilize in RX-7's ... I think I payed $200 for a 5 speed with 70k on it.
