I need a TID adapter anyone got Specs?
I have a stage 3 Turbo Hybrid upgrade from BNR
http://www.lourdsmusic.com/bnrsupercars/turbo8788.htm
And I have to hook-up my stock TID to it for the time being to pass smog. Anyone know what size adapter I need to go from the end of the stock TID to the Above listed Hybrid Turbo?
Also any good sugestions on what to use to hook it up, clamp it Etc. If I clamp rubber onto Rummer I wont be able to get it very tight it will just crush/bend ... if you know what I mean. Maybee I can put somthing inside the stock end ... like a metal bearing lookinh thing to hold it solid?? I am sure someone has done this before? It's only gotta last about 2 weeks then I will put my new TID and air cleaner on.
Thanks alot for any info.
Robert

even if you get something to fit. it's gona push the stock TID a couple inchs out... won't fit to the stock box.
you need it for a visual? as long as the vac lines are hooked up to the TID I couldn't see how there would be a problem... but cali is kinda gay so who knows

Ya, I need it for a visual and for the lines that come off it. I can cut the extra 2 inches off the stock TID with a razor blade... I won't need it for anything else.

well just mesure it LOL.. cut the stock one down so it's 3" or so. then add a couple inches of 3" metal pipe. clamp the stock TID onto the metal, and clamp the metal to the turbo using your TID silicon connecter.
or leave the TID as is, get some 2.5" pipe. and then you'd need a 2.5" to 3" redcuer to attach to the turbo, or whatever size your turbo is on the outside.
you can get black connecters from http://www.roadraceengineering.com/hoseandclamps.htm if that makes it any easier. might not want a red one in there.
site looks down right now...
